Chris O'Mara | Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Ukulele, Keyboards

Chris O’Mara, a musical jack of all trades, has been teaching music for more than 3 years. He teaches beginning to advanced level guitar, all levels of bass guitar including upright bass, beginning to intermediate banjo and ukulele, Scruggs-style banjo, and beginning piano. Chris is particularly good with younger students. He specializes in blues, jazz, pop, and folk styles and enjoys composing etudes to help students focus on specific techniques in their lessons. Chris is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the University of Arkansas.

Walter Schmidt | Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Ukulele

Walter Schmidt has been playing and teaching music on a variety of instruments for more than 30 years. He teaches beginning to intermediate classical guitar, beginning to advanced fingerstyle and folk guitar, beginning to intermediate bass guitar, and beginning to intermediate banjo and ukulele. Walter is an accomplished songwriter whose song, "Arkansas, I Hear You Calling" was selected as a New Song Showcase winner for the 2016 Walnut Valley Music Festival held in Winfield, Kansas. In 2014 he released an album of original songs, Big Fat Moon. Walter also recently produced the compilation album It’s Natural: Arkansas Musicians Sing About Livin’ & Dyin’ on behalf of the Natural State Burial Association.

Larry Hight | Guitar, Bass, Pedal Steel, Dobro, Beginning Mandolin

Larry teaches guitar, bass, pedal steel, mandolin, and beginner to intermediate dobro. Larry has more than 40 years of private lesson teaching experience, 1 year of college, and more than 40 years as a professional musician, specializing in rock, blues, and country styles. When he's not teaching, you can catch Larry playing pedal steel, rhythm guitar, and saxophone with the gold-selling country band, Ricochet.


Christopher Gregg | Guitar, Bass, Drums, Ukulele, Keyboards

Christopher has been teaching for about a year and has 17 years of studying music under his belt. Christopher is constantly devouring classic guitar books, such as Chord Chemistry, The Advancing Guitarist, Berklee's Modern Method, and more. Christopher teaches beginning to advanced guitar, beginning to intermediate bass, beginning piano, beginning drums, and beginning to advanced music theory. Christopher teaches a vast array of styles, including classic rock, blues, jazz, country, fingerstyle, classical, metal, slide guitar, advanced picking techniques, and more.


Isayah Warford | Guitar, Beginning Bass, Beginning Ukulele, Keyboards, & Beginning Mandolin

Isayah has over 23 years of experience playing guitar. As a father of two girls, Isayah makes the perfect choice for teaching and inspiring all ages. Teaching all genres of music for electric and acoustic guitar. From beginners to advanced players, Isayah can offer lessons about improvisation, dynamics, and techniques including slide guitar, Jeff Beck style tremolo/whammy, and tips on tone, volume, and setting effects and how to get the sound you are looking for to play your favorite song. If it's fundamentals and theory or you just want to learn your favorite song or get some fresh fun ideas for playing the guitar, Isayah is ready to teach you!

Drew Rogers | Guitar & Bass

Drew has a bachelors degree in guitar performance from the University of Arkansas and a masters degree in guitar performance from Utah State University. He is well versed in a variety of styles, such as jazz, rock, pop, blues, folk, funk, fusion, classical, to name a few, and has been performing professionally since the age of 17. He has performed across the United States and in Europe. Drew is also an experienced teacher, with 7 years of teaching experience, including at the college level. He is currently on faculty at Pitt State University and can be found performing across the NWA area. Because of Drew’s well rounded musical background and his passion for both performing and teaching, he brings a straightforward and pragmatic approach into lessons, one that is designed to help students effectively utilize the tools necessary to play music on a high level, while also realizing their own creative potential.
